Celebrate 100 Years of Saint Joseph School!

If you find yourself here, chances are you are either a current SJS family, alumni, or a proud supporter of our school. Whatever has made you decide to sponsor or donate to our 1st ever gala to celebrate our Centennial year, we cannot thank you enough! We consider ourselves blessed that we have the opportunity to be celebrating such a momentous occasion. We believe in the value of Catholic education in today's ever-changing world as you know, we do rely on the continued support of people like you. This gala will be taking on some much needed and major improvements not only to the school, but to the overall quality of life and education our students receive. We have 3 projects that we hope to complete with a successful gala. For our younger knights in training, a new playground is very much needed for them. The playground is at the forefront of our school and anyone who has visited can certainly agree the time is now for much needed improvements and updates. The project will consist of: adding in turf (yes, removing sand) and new equipment (swings, jungle gyms, etc.). With the labor, installations, and equipment this project has an approximate cost of $65-80,000. Our older knights are those who need to stay ahead on mastering the newest technology. There is groundbreaking virtual reality headset technology that can aid our middle schoolers in bringing the ancient empires to life when studying history, put then right next to Noah on the Ark in religious studies, and have elemental reactions come to life before their very eyes in science. These are only some examples as to how their learning could be enhanced in a way that ensures they are on the forefront of all new technology. 30 headsets have an approximate cost of $30,000. To secure our fortress for our knights, we must always remain vigilant and never take our security for granted. To make our lobby even safer, there is a special glass that can be installed that is impenetrable. We view this as an unfortunate necessity in the world we live in. This project has a price of $10,000 to complete. We thank you for your time and consideration.
